The Making of the Hottest Year on Record
Climate.gov is featuring a new video entitled The Making of the Hottest Year on Record: USA Temperature Update that stars Deke Arndt, Chief of the Climate Monitoring Branch at NCDC. The video highlights October temperatures as well as the current year-to-date temperatures. After 16 consecutive months with warmer-than-normal conditions, October brought fairly average temperatures to the United States, but are we still on track for the warmest year in the United States’ climate record?
